Community Involvement

Dr. Kwong is a proud provider for Smiles
Changes Lives (SCL). This organization was
founded to provide access to life-changing
orthodontic treatment for children in need.
They help families who cannot afford care
secure treatment for their children by finding
them orthodontists who are willing to donate
their services.

Dr. Kwong participates in the Santa Clara
County Dental Society Give Kids a Smile
(GKAS) program. This program provides pro
bono dental and orthodontic care to children in
need. The mission of the program is to improve
the lives of underprivileged children and the
families of the Santa Clara County School Districts.

Dr. Kwong and his family have been involved
with Kristi Yamaguchi’s Always Dream
Foundation since 2001. The Always Dream
Foundation focuses on supporting
organizations that have a positive influence
on the lives of children.

Within the Always Dream Foundation, Dr.
Kwong has sponsored the Always Reading
program. "Always Reading" is an early
childhood literacy program that provides
access to books and technology for
underprivileged children.
